Info: Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue began in January 2009 rescuing purebred Doberman Pinschers. We are HQ'd in central Phoenix but accept dogs statewide when transport can be arranged. For accountability and mentoring, we currently work through and under the auspices of Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue until we have sufficient funding and support to form our own 501c3. Info: Founded in 2008, Helping Orphaned Hounds is an all volunteer, no kill, working on 501(c)3 non-profit organization with two main goals:
* Find loving homes for homeless dogs/puppies in the AZ area.
* Promote spay/neuter thereby reducing the tragic consequences of pet overpopulation.
With no facility of our own, our greatest irony is that we're as homeless as the animals that we are helping! Instead of limiting us, that fact has driven us to create the model of a 21st Century "virtual shelter". Our animals are evaluated, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ultimately placed in a loving and permanent home.

Info: As a 501(C)(3) all volunteer organization, our mission at FastDogs-FastFriends: Greyhound Adoption is to place these wonderful hounds into safe, loving homes. Whether they are retired directly from a track (some physically and/or emotionally injured), a greyhound placed at Rabies Animal Control or any other facility, or perhaps someone's pet who, for whatever reason, must be surrendered, makes no difference to us. Once they come into the FastDogs family, every dog receives loving care. Their medical needs (including spay/neuter and vaccinations) are tended to, and they remain with us until an appropriate home is found - however long it takes.
